Therapy for kids & teens

Hi! I’m Ms. KK — a warm, playful, creative therapist who specializes in working with kids and teens who feel like outsiders, originals, or beautiful misfits.

While I work with kids and teens from all walks of life, I have specialized expertise in supporting Neurodivergent/ADHD kids and trans, queer and gender-expansive kids.

💬 What I help with:

✅ Emotional overwhelm (big feelings, shutdowns, crying spells, irritability)
✅ Anxiety (school anxiety, social anxiety, worries that never stop, perfectionism)
✅ Depression (withdrawal, loss of interest, low motivation, disengaging from school or friends)
✅ Friendship and social challenges (conflict, feeling left out, difficulty connecting)
✅ Behavioral struggles (outbursts, impulsivity, trouble listening, meltdowns)
✅ Identity exploration (gender identity, sexuality, belonging, self-expression)

💬 Why Kids and Teens Love Working With Ms. KK:

✅ Warm and Accepting: I meet kids exactly where they are — no judgment, no pressure.
✅ Playful and Fun: We laugh, create, imagine, and connect.
✅ Authentic and Real: Kids sense authenticity — I show up as my full self (charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent — 1 million points if you caught that).
✅ Creative and Flexible: Games, art, roleplay, and storytelling are all part of therapy.
✅ Encouraging and Empowering: We center strengths and inner wisdom.
✅ Joyful and Hopeful: Even when facing hard things, we build on resilience and worth.

Why play therapy?

Play isn't "just" fun — it’s how kids process emotions, relationships, and healing.
Through play, kids can safely explore big feelings — even ones they don’t yet have words for.

Play therapy builds a bridge between your child’s inner world and the skills, support, and healing they need to thrive.
